Falling Walls Lab Türkiye Opened!

Falling Walls Lab Turkey was opened in cooperation with TÜBİTAK and Falling Walls GmbH in order to support the creativity, innovative ideas and discoveries of young people.

Falling Walls Lab is an international innovative entrepreneurship competition based in Germany. Interdisciplinary university students and early career professionals can submit their groundbreaking ideas globally and locally to the competition.
Each candidate must prepare a 3-minute presentation to showcase their innovative idea that has a positive impact on science, the arts and society. The jury will evaluate the innovative ideas participating in the competition and determine the candidate who will represent Turkey in the global competition to be held on November 7, 2023.

The candidate selected from Falling Walls Lab Turkey will qualify for the global final in Berlin on November 7, 2023, and will have the opportunity to meet with world-renowned names in science, business and politics in Berlin. The travel and accommodation expenses of the candidates who will participate in the Global Falling Walls Lab finals in Berlin from Turkey will be covered by TUBITAK.

Application deadline: 17 July 2023.

Requirements for applications:

Applicants must be 18 years or older.
Applicants must meet at least one of the following conditions:
• Must be enrolled in one of the undergraduate, graduate, doctoral programs at the university or be a post-doctoral researcher
• Must have obtained a bachelor’s degree no more than 10 years ago
• Must have received a master’s degree no more than 7 years ago
• Must have received a doctoral degree no more than 5 years ago

Applications must be made in English. More than one application should not be made.
