SCIENTIFIC PREPARATION PROGRAM
A scientific/artistic preparation program can be implemented for students who have been admitted to master’s and doctorate programs, for those who have received their undergraduate or graduate degrees in different fields from the master or doctorate program in which they are accepted, and those who have received their undergraduate or graduate degrees from other higher education institutions.
The courses that are required to be taken in the scientific/artistic preparation program cannot replace the courses required to complete the related graduate program.
The period that the student takes only scientific reparatory courses is not counted as the period of education. A student in a scientific/artistic preparatory program can take courses for a postgraduate program with the recommendation of the relevant institute department, and the approval of the institute board of directors, as well as scientific preparatory courses. In this case, the student is considered to have started the first semester of the education-training period.
Scientific/artistic preparation program; license for postgraduate and integrated doctoral programs; It consists of graduate level courses for doctoral and proficiency in art programs.
The period to be spent in the scientific preparation program is at most two semesters. Summer education is not included in this period. This period cannot be extended except for semester leave and students who fail at the end of the term are dismissed.
For the courses in the scientific/artistic preparation program, the provisions of the legislation that the course is included in are applied in attendance, course exams, lecture notes, conditions to be considered successful from the courses, repetition, registration and other issues.
The grades of the courses taken from the scientific/artistic preparation program are shown in the transcript and do not affect the overall grade average.
